Today,church was alright..at least everything went smoothly...well..almost...but anyway,that's not the point...
As usual,had juniors worship then sunday school...oh and Eliz brought her friend Christine...she's nice...anyway,today is the combined service between CS and LS so service start at 11.30 instead of 10.30...in other words...we had like one hr free...woo!!
As usual,everyone flocked to the coffee shop.Xuan was reluctant to go coz she wanted to read some chinese book..gee...IP people...she's only 15 and she's in NJC...finally after much persuasion from Louis,Dustin,Ying Xuan,Eliz and me,she gave in...
we managed to get a table coz it wasnt very crowded and we mostly ordered drinks...only Dustin ate...he was telling us that he has a lot of breaks during school(SAJC) so all he do is eat eat eat...gee...that guy doesn't grow fat at all...then he laid out all his medicine for phlegm,cough and hell knows what...he said he had anti-depressants too...i was like,"whoa...man,you're THAT stressed huh?"
ying xuan and i sorta snatched Dus' ez-link card to kaypo...then we started laughing and were like,"aiyo...so cute!haha!"then we were all talking abt how retarded we look in our ezlinks...
oh yeah,and Dus was telling us that one time he went out with can't rmb who and someone else was telling that person with him,"whoa,your dad is damn cool man!"..that person thought that Dustin's a dad(Dus' only 16 btw..waiting for Os results)...lolx...we were laughing like hell...you see,Dus likes wearing those uncle-ish clothes...for eg,he was wearing some floral shirt with grey pants(the kind that ah-peks wear) and rubber sandals(Ying Xuan was saying he can go Mustafa in those duds...wahaha) .Louis was saying Dus seriously needed a wardrobe revamp...he buys his clothes from those sales at Expo by the way...haha...he's so funny...Dus defended himself by saying his clothes were comfy and blah blah....while Louis was saying,"you want comfort?wear a singlet or swimming trunks..."everyone totally cracked up...i didnt know louis was so full of crap...he always appeared pretty normal...not quiet not noisy...and Dus is not that bad-looking...just that his fashion sense seriously sucks(oops...Dus,if you're reading this...no offence la...but we all know it's true...heh heh..)
Halfway all that drama,Xuan was absorbing herself with the chinese book...it's in fan ti...like wth...we kept distracting her so much so that after 15mins,she barely started the first page...then she didnt know a word and started asking us and we all were like,"err..xuan,you're an IP student...if you dunno,how the hell we know?"
then the rest of the guys came...Hong yu was like,"OMG!Xuan!You're reading a book in fan ti???i take my hat off to you la" Gerald attempted to read some aloud and then was like,"ugh!i give up la!"haha...
then Louis was complaining about absorbing all the heat that Gerald was radiating...Louis was wearing black and Gerald was wearing yellow...ya then came all the radiating...absorbing and all that shit lah...gee...application of physics...haha
we went off to service after that..we sat at the top...first time i've been up to the top.. the feeling is like you're on top of the world and looking down on all those little minions....haha...jkjk...
then the scripture reading,it was sorta a role-play thinggie...Hong yu was Eli,samuel(i think that's his name) was samuel and Gerald was the voice of God(oh shit,i forgot to torment him about it...).anyway,it was damn funny...Gerald's role is damn easy...he only had to go,"Samuel...Samuel..."er...his attempt to make his voice low kinda failed...(shit,again forgot to disturb him abt it...)
sermon was funny...Pastor Jasper was the speaker and he asked the children some qns and the kids were so cute...their answers were damn funny...
fast forward...then after service...i was standing at one of the pews sms-ing with my back turned to the stage when Gerald came past behind me and went,"Yo!" into my ear...got a bit of a shock though i didnt show it...was too absorbed in smsing...then i was trying to glare at him but kinda laugh instead...then he was talking to alex about something..then he said smth to me in chinese then before i could answer he was like,"oh ya..forgot somebody cannot understand chinese.." i punched his arm and was like,"oii...i know my chinese poor but i can understand ok..."he just had to rub it in..then alex was saying,"haiz...s'pore's gonna be a society that sucks in chinese and eng" then i answered,"ya...but we're good with singlish..."
then alex stayed behind to help out while i walked down the stairs with gerald..he wanted to slide down the railings and i was like,"you trying to kill yourself ah?" then he was like,"nah...don't think so...i'm still too young to die.." (-_-)whatever la....we went downstairs..we didnt really wanna eat so louis and dustin kept trying to tempt us with the duck wings and the char siew thingy...gerald gave in but hah!they can't tempt me...talk a bit and found out gerald took triple science(now waiting for Os results)smartypants.....anyway after that, i went off with my mum...
and oh shit again...forgot to ask gerald for his Lit notes...ugh...must make a mental note to remind myself to ask him next week..
yep...that was my day...oh and thank goodness the weather was great...sunny....it just rocks!
